Two Days Thinking skills Workshop
This Blogspot is in response to the Sunday reading task on Thinking skills by Milan Pandya sir. This blog is inspired by Dr. Dilip Barad sir. On 13th and 14th August organized a Thinking skills workshop by prof. Milan Pandya sir.
The workshop was organized at the Department of English on Thinking skill, Communication Skill, critical and creative thinking. That day I was absent so I read My seniors and my Classmates Blog and Milan sir’s personal Information and then I wrote a blog on this topic.
Milan Pandya sir is a teacher, trainer and educator in the field of Thinking Skills i.e. Critical, Creative and Design Thinking, English Language Teaching & Communication Skills. Mr. Pandya has authored 02 books, and presented and published a number of research papers in national and international conferences and journals. He has taught in numerous Universities/Institutions training more than 30,000 people in Thinking Skills across the world.
The workshop started on 13th august. Dr. Dilip Barad sir warmly welcomed Milan sir and then gave information about him and his achievements and his work.
During the workshop ,while Barad sir was talking about asking questions to Milan sir , Sir added one line Which line taught us a lot .Sir said that ,
“A Stupidest question can bring the smartest answer”
Sir wants to tell us “ keep on asking questions”.
* And then Milan sir started with asking a question , What do you mean by critical thinking and what is your understanding ?
Thinking skill is a life skill. When we think about anything then we can find our doubts about what is wrong or what is right. Thinking skill is a necessary part of our life.
According to sir, Thinking skill is part of our life, It is very important “ To create a spark”. We can apply our minds.
Three ways of critical thinking , sir gave three words of critical thinking , Logical, scientific , rational
On the second day of the workshop 14th August, sir said , Critical thinking is always practised because nobody was born with a critical or creative thinker.
It is a game , it shows our power of thinking and creative work.
